BROKEN

 BROKEN

Oh dear God,
Oh dear heart,
There is nothing to hide from you,
There is no need to shy from you.

My trust has been broken,
About which I haven’t spoken,
In whom I placed my trust,
Treated me almost like dust.

About my boldness I spoke,
I didn’t know I was so fragile,
Shattered in a single tinkle,
I felt like a glass.

Oh dear God,
Oh dear heart,
There is nothing to hide from you,
There is no need to shy from you.

Through the thick winter fog,
There came a feeble voice,
Saying there exists a flexible glass, an unbreakable glass,
So did I rejoice.

So did I realise,
Gold exists in dust,
It does not rust,
From depths and darkness of the crust,
We must rise with a thrust,
By trusting the eternal trust.
